Lemme tell you a secret . . . Christmas is awesome! I mean, I got all this cool stuff, and was totally the center of attention! I don't know why we can't do this everyday!

I got this sweet horsey jumper. I love it! I go nuts, jumping up and down like a manaic and mommy and daddy laugh and laugh.

MEGA SUPER CUTE UPDATE!!!

Whoa! Happy Holidays! I can't believe it's the end of the year. I have been SO busy. I am pretty cool - I sit up now, all by myself, for a real long time. I play with my toys, and pet my woof woof. I try to pet my meow meow, but he's a little elusive. Sometimes I get a good handfull of his soft fur and smile at him though. I think we'll be good friends. And I know woof woof and I will be friends. She likes to lick my face, and my feet and hands. It makes me laugh.

So, I've been sitting in my Exersaucer a lot. It's fun, and I can watch daddy and mommy cook and do other silly stuff.

I went on a road trip for Thanksgiving and met a bunch of awesome people from Dad's family. Then the next day Mommy woke up early and was all like "DADDY, TIME TO DECORATE FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!!!" I went outside to supervise:

Supermodel!

Wow, I've been so busy I've barely had time to update my world famous blog! What have I been busy with, you ask? Well, I spend a lot of time smiling and laughing. It's one of my favorite things to do! I only get fussy when I'm hungry, although I don't really like those middle-of-the-night diaper changes. The rest of the time I'm awake I love to smile!

I've learned to roll over both ways too, from my tummy to my back and my back to my tummy. It's fun to do! And I'm starting to play with some of the cool toys mom and dad have for me. I like to grab on to them, especially my bumblebee, and sometimes it's funny to put them in my mouth. I like to put my hands in my mouth too, and just about everything else! I crack myself up!

Daycare is pretty fun. They take good care of me there, and I never get scared. I know mom and dad will pick me up every day, and then we go home and do all sorts of stuff. I lie on the ottoman, and roll around. Some nights I get a bath, and I think that's pretty fun. Really I like to do anything, as long as it's with mom and dad!

Last weekend we went to some place called Portrait Innovations and I was the center of attention! I got to wear a few different outfits and do some modeling for the nice people there. Check it out!

Keeping Mom and Dad busy!

Hello readers! So much has been going on, and I've realized I've been keeping mom and dad so busy they haven't had time to update my blog for you all. I've been growing a lot; I'm almost too big to fit into a lot of the clothes I started wearing when mom and dad brought me home!

I'm starting to settle into a pretty predictable sleep pattern too. I usually call it a night around 8:30 or 9, and then I snooze until 2:00 when I get hungry and wake mom or dad up. Then it's back to sleep until 5, a little snack, and I usually start stirring to get my day started around 7.

And I've been smiling A LOT! It's fun to smile. Mom and dad make me smile cuz they make funny faces, and sing to me. And they read my favorite books to me and tickle my nose. So much stuff makes me smile. Being a baby is awesome.

We've been going out a lot too - we go to the store, to see our friends, to go shopping, to go downtown to festivals or the farmer's market. It's fun, mostly because everyone tells me how beautiful I am!

A few weeks ago we went to downtown Bloomington for Hot August Nights, but we went during the day which I thought was funny. Anyway, it WAS hot! I got to wear my cool sunglasses:


And daddy put a cold washcloth on my head when I got hot:

I get to cuddle a lot with mommy. She has to go back to work next week, and I'm going to daycare where I will meet all sorts of new friends and learn things. But I'm still making the most of the time I get her to myself:


But when daddy is home I'm all over him too! This is right after he got a bad haircut, and mommy said he was lopsided. I thought that was pretty hilarious! (You can see sister woof-woof in this picture too; she's funny, and has soft fur):


Mom and dad have SO MANY pictures and movies of me. Daddy said he needed a whole day off if he is to ever get them all uploaded to the Web, but you can see a lot of other pictures of me here.

I'll make sure daddy is better about updating this blog too! I think I have him wrapped around my little finger. :)

Social Butterfly

Hi faithful readers! I've made so many new friends in the past few weeks; it's been so much fun! More of that in a moment.

I've been growing a lot, and mom and dad have remarked on how much more I'm awake now, and how I'm starting to notice more things around me all the time. We've had lots of story times and tummy times, and just this past weekend daddy brought my new swing up from the basement so I can sit and swing while they eat dinner. It's pretty fun to swing back and forth and listen to music while they eat.

So, here are some of the people I've had the chance to visit with lately; some I already met, but some others were brand new to me!

First we took a trip up to Lexington to visit Grandma and Grandpa, and I got to meet grandma's sisters!
