Summertime!

It's not officially summer yet, dear readers, but it's spring, and that apparently means we get to party outside a lot!

But, first things first. I am pretty much into this whole crawling thing, and mommy and daddy say the next thing for me to get into is walking. That said, they bought me this cool new car that converts from something I can sit on to something I can use to walk around with. I like the sitting part a lot, but lately I've been like, yeah whatever, I can walk with it. And I cruise all over the house, freaking woof woof out and laughing like a mad woman. Anyway, here are some pictures of me with this excellent device:

As you can see, I'm all like, yeah, whatever. I'm cool like that. But sometimes it hits me - life is freaking awesome man! And I crack myself up:

So, anyway, like I said, we've been partying outside a lot lately. A few weeks ago we had some friends over, at my advice, and had a cookout. I thought it was pretty awesome, and our friends Brett and Lyn brought over their little guy Hoyt. I hang out with him at daycare a lot, and show him the ropes, like how to get away with stuff and then look all cute so you don't get into trouble. This time around I was kicking it in our back yard, while he was chilling with his mommy.

So this is me, having a banging time in our back yard. As you can see, I look totally awesome.

So then, check this out - mommy and daddy took me to this wonderful magical place. I told you in an earlier post about this cool park that mommy and daddy's work has. Before I just played on the swings and stuff, but this time . . . they took me to the pool! All I can say is WHOA! At first I wasn't too sure. Daddy got me into the water while mommy was changing, but after awhile I decided this was pretty cool stuff! I got to kick it in my swimsuit, look awesome, get a tan and hang with some other crazy kids! I can't wait to go back and do it again! First, here's me, texting my peeps and letting 'em know how lame I think this going to be. You will notice I'm in a big girl seat now in the car. You will also notice how banging I look. Boo-ya!!

I had a GREAT time! I played in the sprinklers, and them mommy and daddy took me in the big girl's pool and I bobbed around with them and swam and stuff. It was pretty sweet folks! Try it out sometime, and don't be afraid. Trying new stuff is AWESOME!

April is the COOLEST month!

So the other day my daddy was talking all sorts of nonsense about some guy named T.S. Eliot who said "April is the cruelest month." Well I tell you what, that guy was an idiot, because April was AWESOME!

For one thing, mommy went to some stupid place called Florida for a week. She had fun and brought me back some presents, but I was left alone with daddy. He's pretty cool, I guess. I'm so mobile now, I did take a little tumble when he was watching me and I got a bruise on my head. It didn't really hurt, but I still milked it for some attention!

Then we went over to Uncle Troy and Aunt Shawn's for Easter lunch. It was sweet, because my cousin Aaron is a little older than me, and I get all his old toys. I got some new stuff too! Grandma and Grandpa got me some bath tub toys, and a card. The card was cool and all, but I was all like WHERE'S THE MONEY?!?!?!? A girl's gotta have some cash, after all.

And I've been partying, pretty much non-stop. It's what I'm born to do after all. I've gotten TWO TEETH, and am really digging chewing on my toys.

And we get to go outside all the time now! Woof woof runs around like a maniac, and I get the play in the yard and inspect the flowers. I'm still not too sure about this grass stuff, but I'll get used to it. I'll tell you what though, nature is freaking awesome!

March MADNESS!

Hi esteemed readership! I trust this latest missive finds you well!

I am awesome, as you might guess. It's getting warmer outside, so my loathing of wearing socks is finally becoming acceptable to mommy and daddy. Things are pretty cool, and I've been learning to do some new things.

I crawl all over the place now, army style, and can pull myself up into a standing position. Mommy and daddy are pretty impressed! I am queen of the house now, and I can't get them to understand that while I like all my toys, why wouldn't I want to grab mommy's flip flops instead and put them in my mouth? I mean, they're totally awesome!

But toys are pretty cool. I have this sweet wagon full of brighly colored bricks, and my favorite thing to do is dump them all out across the floor and then watch daddy try to not step on any. In fact, I have two pictures of me with my wagon.

Whew. So as you can see I've been pretty busy! I can't wait for summer to get here so daddy can show me how to plant tomatoes (I love them) and carrots (another favorite of mine!).

Holiday Roundup!

Lemme tell you a secret . . . Christmas is awesome! I mean, I got all this cool stuff, and was totally the center of attention! I don't know why we can't do this everyday!

MEGA SUPER CUTE UPDATE!!!

Whoa! Happy Holidays! I can't believe it's the end of the year. I have been SO busy. I am pretty cool - I sit up now, all by myself, for a real long time. I play with my toys, and pet my woof woof. I try to pet my meow meow, but he's a little elusive. Sometimes I get a good handfull of his soft fur and smile at him though. I think we'll be good friends. And I know woof woof and I will be friends. She likes to lick my face, and my feet and hands. It makes me laugh.

So, I've been sitting in my Exersaucer a lot. It's fun, and I can watch daddy and mommy cook and do other silly stuff.
